Growing up Hispanic-American and noticing the similarities between Latin cultures helped me create multiple items for a local Mexican Bakery. El Bolillo is one of many panaderias, or bakeries, where Latinos and Hispanics can indulge in sweets from their cultures. I designed items for their bakery to enhance cultural appreciation for a seasonal promotion. Valentine’s Day was perfect for El Bolillo since they sell all kinds of sweets. A Valentine’s Day dessert box, gift card/tearaway love notes, a store-front sign, and Instagram posts are included in the project. Ultimately creating a sense of love.
